Resident of San Leandro
Rory was born in Schenectady, New York on May 8, 1951 to Gloria Farone and the late Patrick McHale. He moved to San Diego in his youth and eventually settled in San Leandro where he raised his family. Always one to tell a joke or lend a hand, Rory held many roles throughout his life, successful entrepreneur, community volunteer, and gracious neighbor, but he will be most remembered by those that knew him best as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and true friend. Rory is survived by his wife, Denise, his children: Kristle, Gregory, Amy and Rory Jr., his grandchildren: Miranda, Rocco, J.J., Clara and Greg, his brother Ron and many friends and extended family members. A memorial service will be held at Creekside Community Church 951 Mac Arthur Blvd. San Leandro on Friday, March 22 at 1 pm.

To Denise and family members:
I am so sorry for your loss. Rory was a big part of my life and like a father to me. He demonstrated compassion, grace and mentored me in so many ways. I will miss him more than my words can say. I am sorry I did not attend the services but I was just told about his passing this week.
My love goes out to Denise and the kids along with all the family.
Rory I love you and thank you for all you have meant to me. You will be missed very much.
