Rosario P. Evangelista

Rosario P. Evangelista Sept. 17, 1932-Mar. 30, 2013 Resident of Newark Rosario P. Evangelista passed away peacefully on Saturday. She was a very generous and loving person, caring more for others and always worked hard to take care of her family. Rosario was born in the Philippines and upon graduating from college she used her social service degree, by taking care and making a difference in her community for over twenty years. She moved to California on August, 1973 to join her husband, Benjamin. Rosario is survived by her children Evelyn and grandchildren Terence and Tiana; and Ed and Theresa and grandchildren Melissa, Norman (Melissa's husband), Charlene and Michael; and Ernie and Neri and grandchildren Mia, Marissa and Mark; and Eric and Tim. Her loving presence and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home in the Reflection Chapel, 32992 Mission Blvd. in Hayward. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Avenue in Newark and burial to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park.
