Shirley Anne Baumann entered peacefully into rest on July 5, 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Harvey Leslie Baumann.
Loving mother of David Eugene Baumann and wife Diane, the late Alvin Earnest Baumann and wife Terry, and former daughter-in-law Arlett "Arty" Baumann. Cherished grandmother of Ellen Arraujo and Emerald Baumann. Beloved sister of Dean Butler of Nevada, and brother-in-law Jimmy Marlais of Pleasanton. Caring aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA. A 10:30 Celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at New Hope Community Church, 2190 Peralta Blvd Fremont, CA 94536.
In Lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Shirley's honor to New Hope Community Church.

Shirley lived on my street and was always a happy face to see. She will be missed by many people who love her. God bless you Dave and your wife. I'msorry for your loss. Beth and Ron Pigeon

Shirley was my sister, Arty's best friend/mom for over 30+ years. Shirley was a very important part of my life as well. I am sad she is no longer with us but I know she now with Harvey, Al and her Aunt Edna. She is no longer having to struggle in this life. While everyone will miss Shirley, she will always be in your heart. I will be forever grateful to Shirley for taking such good care of my sister these past 15 years that they lived together. Rest in peace my friend. We will meet again one day.

Shirley has been a part of my life for 30+ years. Her relationship with my sister Arty, was a blessing for both of them. She is going to be missed by me and my sister and her family. Thank you Shirley for being a mom to Arty. Rest in peace.
