Trevor Millosovich Obituary

Trevor Millosovich
Nov 28, 1933 - Jul 6, 2013
Resident of Alameda
After suffering a long battle with ALS, Trevor Millosovich, 79, of Alameda, passed away on July 6, 2013. He was surrounded by his family.
He was born to the late Milo and Mary Millosovich on November 28, 1933, in Oakland, California. Trevor, better known to his family and friends as "The Marshall Street Meteor," graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1951 and received his B.A. in history from the University of California at Berkeley in 1956. He married Patricia F. Hayes in 1961, and they lived together in the Oakland hills before relocating to Alameda in 1965.
Trevor's original career goal was to teach history at the high-school level, but decided to pursue a career in computer programming. He worked for such companies as Rawson Drugs, Safeway, and Plourde Computer Services until his retirement in 1991.
He was an avid baseball fan, often reminiscing about the "old days" when the team to see was the Oakland Oaks. The Oaks' ballpark was located around the corner from his home in Emeryville. As the years passed, he became an avid A's fan, much to the displeasure of some of his children, who preferred the Giants.
He was well-known for his "Trev Alerts," and anyone who knew him also knew to avoid receiving one.
Trevor is survived by his wife Patricia, of Alameda; his daughter Mary and son-in-law James Heffernan, of Alameda; his son Joseph and daughter-in-law Corinna Zanetti, of Alameda; his son Stephen and daughter-in-law Wendy Lindstrom, of Sonoma; his son John, of Alameda; his daughter Katherine, son-in-law Michael Ruggiero, and their daughter Ivy and sons Jackson and Henry, of Alameda; his son Nicholas, of Alameda; his son Michael, of Alameda.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in his name to the ALS Association.
