Resident of Castro Valley
A graduate of San Leandro High School, she received a degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley. She married the late William Charles Glass in 1954, and they lived together with their four sons in San Lorenzo, CA, before relocating to Castro Valley, CA, in 1967, where she and William had built a new home of their own design.
Arden was a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Church in Oakland, CA and was a champion of the traditional Latin Mass and a pillar of social and spiritual life among her fellow parishioners.
Arden is survived by four sons: Christopher Glass of San Diego, CA, Jeffrey Glass of Castro Valley, CA, Timothy Glass of Burbank, CA and David Glass of Lafayette, CA. She also is survived by four grandchildren; Erin Glass of New York, Bryan Glass of San Diego, Megan Glass of San Diego, and Sean Glass of Baltimore.
A viewing will be held at 5:00PM, with a rosary at 7:30PM, both on Friday, January 10, at Holy Angels Funeral & Cremation Center in Hayward. A Requiem Mass will be offered at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Oakland, on Saturday January 11 at 10 AM.
