I just happened to be searching for family history and I found that my cousin Carl died.
My parents and I used to visit his parents in the Bronx. His father was my grandfather's brother and both came to the US from Vilnius, Lithuania, where most of the Pilnick(Pilnik)family came from.
I know this is so late, but my condolences to Laura and Rosemary from their cousin, Mark; Lou and Nettie's son.

Carl Pilnick will be missed by colleagues and friends he's made over the years. I knew him as a loving father, one who was always there for his daughters, supporting and guiding them with love and wisdom.
His family and those who knew him will miss his very gentle soul.
Rest in Peace

Deeepest condolences on the loss of your well-loved and admired father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. I am glad I got to meet Carl and share in his intelligence and humor when we went to see Bill Maher. How wonderful, especially, that he was able to know Miles and spend time with him. I know his legacy will live on in your hearts and minds. We're not supposed to quote from copyrighted material here--is the Bible copyrighted? :) I know we are not Christians, but I've always liked Isaiah's "They may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them." I think that fits Carl well, and I hope he finds good and peaceful rest. I truly believe he will. Continued good thoughts going your way.
Love,
Anna
