Luther Lloyd Edwards passed away peacefully with his two sons Marvin and David at his bedside.
Born in Muleshoe, Texas, at the beginning of the Great Depression, he grew up throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and California. When World War II ended he came back from the Army and signed up for the Merchant Marines, where he trained to become a Ship's Electrician. For twenty seven years he traveled all over the world. Following his career at sea, he worked as a Stationary Engineer at St. Rose Hospital for twenty years. He was part of "The Greatest Generation". He was a devoted husband and father, a loving brother and the best uncle ever. He will truly be missed.
