Peggy Ann Marquart passed away peacefully at her home in Newark surrounded by her loving family on February 10, 2013. Peggy is the beloved wife of Kip Marquart; Loving sister of Don (Bev) and Jim (Mary) Kouns. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Peggy was born in Oakland June 10, 1946, she was a graduate of Oakland High. Peggy was a former employee of Safeway for 23 years and for the last 8 years she worked for Kaiser Permanente. Peggy had a great lust for life and will be missed by her beloved family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend memorial services Saturday February 23, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the New Beginnings Chapel of Alameda Funeral and Cremation Services, 1415 Oak Street, Alameda with Deacon David Young, Officiating.
