Samuel Westley Marshall passed away on April 4th after a long, hard fought battle with multiple complications. He touched so many lives in such a positive way and had an enormous heart. Sam was full of life, a thoughtful and loving man who truly enjoyed his huge family. He once boasted his favorite hobby was spoiling his Grandchildren.
Sam was born on February 2, 1934 in New York. After serving in the Korean war, Sam moved to San Francisco and met his Beloved wife Barbara A. Texiera. Their Union lasted 56 amazing years. Sam was a Teamster truck driver for 40 plus years and kept in touch with many of his Lyon's Truck buddies.
Sam is survived by his loving Wife Barbara, devoted children Brenda Eckert, John Marshall, Samuel Jr and Kathy Marshall, James Marshall. He is also survived by his adoring Grandchildren Paul & Samantha Eckert, Ernie Mendoza, Alicia Mendoza, John Marshall, Nicole Marshall, Jessica Cassell, Cody Schlenker, Megan Schlenker, and Alisha Gisi. He is survived by 8 beautiful Great grandchildren, as well as loving sister in law Dixie Marshall, adoring sister Elsie Lowe and Jim (husband) and his Loving brother Jack and Rose (wife) He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and his extended loving, supporting family Annette and Carl Parker and Judy Greco.
