Victor was born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico and passed away in Union City.
Victor is survived by his wife Eulalia (Jaya) Nieves; his children Victor Jr., Maria, Nancy, Carlos and Daniel Nieves; 14 grandchildren; his siblings Hector Nieves, Marian Martinez, Julia Lebron, Lupe Nieves and Milagro.
Preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Octavia Nieves; a brother Jose Nieves.
Victor enjoyed music, singing, camping, serving his family and serving God.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, Feb, 28, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:30 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center 1051 Harder Rd. Hayward. Funeral Service will be Friday, March 1, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at La Luz del Valle Church 2751 Sleepy Hollow Rd. Hayward. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Victor has never been forgotten my uncle Eddie Lugo knows and remember what a good freind Victor was he is dearly missed!! now my uncle will be 93 and has some forgetfulness in the now but still remembers all his freinds !!we thank God for all the work Victor did for my mom Lisa and uncle Eddie's mobile home ...it made my mom very happy now she's been in her heavenly home!God's blessings to all victors family
