Services are pending for "Banana" Ray Frost who passed away April First in Hayward of an apparent heart attack. Frost was born in Friant, California in 1924. He also lived in Arizona, Pleasanton, and Livermore where he attended High School. He attended San Jose State, and University of Pacific in Stockton. He held a teaching credential and a librarians degree. His first teaching job was in Antioch but he spent most of his career in Fremont. A World War Two Veteran, Frost married his wife Elizabeth in Livermore in 1947. He is survived by his four children Kevin, Kyle, Kory, and Kelly. He also has nine grandchildren. Services will be held at St Bedes Church to be followed by burial at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation be made to the Hanna Boys Center in Sonoma.
