Lynne Jo-Ann Bomberg passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, May 24, 2014. She was 71.
Born in Chicago, she was the eldest of 2 children. She became a resident of the East Bay when her family moved to Richmond, CA in 1952.
She worked for the original Pacific Bell Telephone Company for over 30 years and enjoyed an active retirement for 20+ years. She spent her early retirement years traveling with her beloved Ron Luke. She also spent many happy hours at the car races with close friends.
Lynne is now with those who passed before her; mother Dorothy, father Orville, and Ron Luke. She is survived by her nieces, Kyoko Freeman of Santa Cruz, Julie Earll of the Bay Area, Kathy Gallucci of Concord; former sister-in-law Keiko Bomberg of Concord; brother Richard of Southern CA; 6 grand nieces and nephews; 5 great grand nieces and nephews; and her step-family, the Batstones of Pleasanton.
Lynne's family is grateful for the love and support of her friends, Carol & Brett Tufly.
Inurnment will be at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Memorial donations may be made to a .
