Robert Amieal Delucchi Resident of Oakland Sept. 21, 1919 - Sept. 21, 2011 Bob Delucchi was born to the late Angeline Barbagelata Delucchi and Amieal Delucchi in the Temescal District of Oakland. Loving brother of Corinne Delucchi Henning, brother-in-law of the late George Henning, uncle of Paul (Linda) and Ann Henning, and great uncle of Michael and Christina Henning. Bob graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1938. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps in World War II and was an owner of Liberty Baking. In addition, Bob was employed by the United States Postal Service for 25 years. In 1973, he received a Special Achievement Award from the United States Postal Service (USPS) in appreciation of his sustained outstanding performance of his assigned duties. Following his retirement from USPS, Bob worked in the mailroom at Citicorp Savings. He was a long-time member of ICF Branch 223, the Ligure Club, St. Theresa's Parish, and the Molinari Accordion Band. Bob was an outstanding accordion player whose music was enjoyed by many. The family wishes to thank his caregivers from AgeSong at Lakeside Park. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Theresa's Church, 30 Mandalay Road at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27th.
