Life Long Resident of Alameda
Alameda resident, Ryan C. Kellogg passed away suddenly in Alameda February 17, 2013 due to a Brain Aneurysm at the age of 27. Ryan is the loving son of Renee Kellogg (Burny Matthews); Grandson of Richard Kellogg and Marilyn McDonnal; Step grandson of Sharon Kellogg, Charlotte Kellogg and Jack McDonnal; Brother of Raina and Karley Ricketts; Nephew of Jeff Kellogg and Pam and Chip McDonnal; Uncle of Zach, Chase and Gracie Ricketts; Cousin of Jacob McDonnal. Also survived by Bear the dog. Ryan attended Edison, Lincoln Schools and Alameda High School; He was a 2003 Graduate of Alameda High School. Ryan was a US Army Veteran; he served in Korea and Iraq. Ryan was a member of the 82nd Airborne; Ryan received many Medals for his service to our country including the Korean Defense Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star. He earned the Combat Infantryman and Parachutist Badge. Ryan was an employee of Rodgers Trucking. Ryan long prior to his leaving decided to become an organ donor. Numerous lives will be touched for years to come by Ryan's gift of life. Ryan will be missed by his many loving family members and friends. "Ryan leaves many a young lady's hearts broken by his departure" .
