Anna Mary Ranney Miracle, age 90, of Greenbush passed through the veil on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012.
She was born in Flint on Oct. 29, 1921 to the late Byron and Flossie Ranney (nee Chrivia). Most of her life was spent in Genesee County. She did volunteer work for the American Red Cross and the Girl Scouts of America. Anna worked for the State of Michigan for 17 years before retiring in 1983 and moving to Oscoda.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Jean Leos; sister, Ilah Ludlow; seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by three daughters, Joannie Miracle, Doris Thomas and Elizabeth Trier; sister, Ruth Ludlow; and brother, Wayne Ranney.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Oscoda. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint.
