Gladys M. Wallace

Gladys M. Wallace of West Branch passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at 93 years of age.
Gladys was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church where she was the past president of the Ladies Alter Society. She and her husband, John, were very instrumental in the building of the church.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and raising flowers and always had "beautiful" gardens. She also enjoyed watching baseball on television and was an avid Tiger fan.
She is survived by her children, Frederick (Halley) Wallace of Hale, Marie (Richard) Kaiser of Glennie, Mary Weaver of West Branch and Donald (Linda) Wallace of Heartland; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; and her siblings, Paul (Melba) Denstedt, Junior (Marie) Denstedt and Lucille Brindley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Samuel and Lucy Denstedt; along with four brothers, three sisters and one great granddaughter, Marlana.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 7 at St Pius X Catholic Church, 3901 M-65 in Hale. Arrangements are handled by the Hale Chapel of Buresh Funeral Home. Those wishing to express words of sympathy may do so at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
