Nell ""Louise"" Sanderson

Nell "Louise" (nee Wade) Sanderson of Oscoda passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at the Iosco County Medical Care Facility in Tawas City at 86 years of age.
She was born Oct. 18, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky to Thomas H. and Naomi Wade. Her family moved to Ferndale in 1932 then moved to Detroit in 1937. Nell attended Pershing High School in Detroit.
On June 23, 1947, Nell married Robert Sanderson in Detroit. They attended Starr Presbyterian Church in Royal Oak and United Methodist Churches in West Branch and Oscoda.
Nell "Louise" was very friendly and a loving mother and wife. Her pride and joy were her three children. She was a dedicated and happy homemaker. Her hobbies included stained glass, collecting pewter, collecting poems for her many journals, filling photo albums of family and friends and traveling in United States, England, Scotland, Hawaii, Mexico and Canada.
A very social person, she enjoyed being with people. She was an effective sales person in cosmetic sales at Sears Roebuck (before her wedding) and as an Avon representative later on. She was a Sunday school teacher for 20 years at Christ Memorial and Starr.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert; and three children, Cherie Lynn, Renee Marie and Shawn Thomas.
Per her wishes, private cremation has taken place. Arrangements were handled by the Oscoda Chapel of Buresh Funeral Home,
