Stanley Paul Sensky Jr. of Hale passed away at his home peacefully under the loving care of his family and hospice on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, age 84 years.
Stanley was born in Washington, Penn. on May 15, 1928 to Stanley P. and Helen (Zymbloski) Sensky Sr. After his high school graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force
where he proudly served our country for over six years being stationed throughout Guam, Japan and Texas during the Korean Conflict
After his military service, Stanley returned home and began his long professional career as a food director. He worked very hard for many years at different restaurants, companies and county jails coordinating their food service programs. He was a member of the American Legion post in Hale. Those who knew and loved Stanley will always remember how he loved the outdoors and enjoyed working around the house.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Sensky of Hale; daughter, Mary Catherine (Dan) Barclay of Pennsylvania; six step-children, Charles (Laura) Justin of Garden City, Kevin (Jill) Justin of Garden City, Tim Justin of West Palm, Fla., Karen (Keith) Cooper of Livonia, Terrence Justin of Garden City and Dan (Shannon) Justin of Wyandotte; 20 grandchildren; and 9.5 great grandchildren. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and an infant granddaughter, Frances May Barclay.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at noon at Buresh Funeral Home in Hale with Reverend Dave Stuart officiating. His family will welcome friends at the funeral home for visitation on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will take place in Esmond Evergreen Cemetery in Hale with military honors.
