Andrew Wayne Carroll, age 32, of East Tawas passed away Sept. 29, 2013.
The Guest Book is expired.
He was born in Ypsilanti on July 30, 1981. Andrew attended Tawas Area High School and was a great athlete during his high school years. After high school, he worked as a roofer and truck driver both locally and in other states. Andrew had a heart of gold and loved to help others in any way he could. He loved fishing, hockey, traveling and being social.
Andrew could make friends anywhere he went. Throughout his life, he stood upon the Bible verse Philippians 3:12-14 that reads "…but one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me" and even during rocky years and many battles, he still claimed this Bible verse over his life.
He is survived by his children, Grace Murry, Tristian Carroll, Caleb Carroll and Kayden Carroll; his parents, Sharon (Steve) Koenitzer and Jerry Sr. (Deborah) Carroll; his brother, Jerry Carroll; and his sister, Katrina (Ben) Dean. He is also survived by his nephews, Ethan Dean, Samuel Dean, Landon Dean and Mason Richardson. Andrew was preceded in death by his nephew, Aaron Dean.
Visitation services will be held at East Tawas Assembly of God on Wednesday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 1 p.m. Any donations can be made to the family and condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
