Dawn L. Dittenber, 67, of Tawas City, formerly of Oscoda, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Lakeview Manor Healthcare Center.

Dawn was born on September 13, 1945 in West Branch, Michigan to Carl and June (Smith) Dittenber. She graduated from Tawas High School.
Dawn was a very talented crafter who worked for herself doing needle point, crocheting, and knitting. She was active with many various organizations such as the Oscoda United Methodist Church, Ladies Auxiliary, Oscoda Lioness, and the Oscoda Area TOPS.
Dawn was loved by many friends and family who said that she never forgot anyone she met.
Dawn is survived by her two brothers, Charles D. (Diane) Dittenber of Holt, Michigan, and Gary M. (Mary) Clark of Saginaw, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Chuck and Mike Dittenber and Christi and Sean Clark; and many dear friends.
Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Dittenber of AuGres, and her mother, June Warner of Tawas City.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 20, at 1 p.m. at the Buresh Funeral Home with Pastor Bri Desotell officiating. Her family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
