Edward F. Kluger, age 92, died Aug. 21, 2013.
Born Sept. 22, 1920 in Vienna, Austria, He lived in National City and worked as a tool and die maker until retiring from Atlas Tool in Roseville. Ed was a member of American Legion and had served honorably during World War II in the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre. Most notably he was a member of the historic Mighty Midgets and was a registered member in their National Association.
Ed's favorite activities were working in his yard, tending his flowers, playing Euchre, as well as hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his children Denise Fell, Charles Kluger, Jason Kluger and Elisabeth Nielson; grandchildren, Eddie, Trisha, Kim, Kristy, Michael, Sara, Tristan and William; and great grandchildren, Kayle, Kayden, Cameron, Noah and Gavin.
Ed was preceded in death by his mother and father, Elisabeth and Eduard Kluger; brother, Henry Frank Kluger; and son, Robert Kluger.
No services will be held according to his wishes. His ashes will be laid to rest at his homestead in National City.
