Elaine Ruth Ulman of East Tawas, formerly of Farmington Hills, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Saginaw St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, age 76 years.

Elaine was born on Oct. 1, 1936 in Detroit to Carl and Bernice (Love) Worrell. She married Jimmy R. Ulman in Royal Oak on Dec. 26, 1953 and together they celebrated 59 beautiful years of marriage.
Elaine was a hard working woman who elected to stay home during her younger years to raise her children and keep the family home strong. She cherished the quality time spent with her children and grandchildren. Among her interests in life, she truly enjoyed fishing, bingo and crocheting.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy R. Ulman of East Tawas; four sons, Ronald J. Ulman of Farmington, Daniel L. Ulman of Farmington Hills, Gary A. Ulman of Livonia and Jimmy R. (Patricia) Ulman Jr. of Livonia; five grandchildren, Jason Lessor of Farmington Hills, Katie Ulman of Farmington, Robert Ulman of Utah, Ryan Ulman of Livonia and Adam Ulman of Livonia; one great grandson, Ethan Lessor of Farmington; and many dear friends. Elaine was preceded in death by a daughter, Denice E. Ulman (Lessor); and a son-in-law, Greg Lessor.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, May 8 at 2 p.m. at New Hope Church in East Tawas with Jeff Hemphill officiating. Her family will welcome friends at the church on Wednesday from noon to the time of the service. An on-line guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
