Harold "Bill" Lee Pullen, age 86, of Oscoda passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw.

He was born in Detroit on Jan. 14, 1927 to the late Milo Pullen and Helen Gotthardt. Harold was a resident of Oscoda for 34 years and a former resident of Garden City for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joanna, whom he married in 1950 at the Holy Redeemer Church in Detroit.
Harold was proud of his time served in the Army during World War II and would often share memories of his time in the service. After serving in the Army, he worked for over 20 years as a building contractor. Harold was also a member of Hope St. John's Parish.
He is survived by his children, Lee Pullen of Florida and Susan (Allan) Manser of Howell; his former daughter-in-law, Terry Pullen of Traverse City; sisters, Shirley Kaminski and Helen Landenberger; grandchildren, William H. Pullen, Lisa Phillips and Cassie Pullen; and great grandchildren, Nathan Shaw, Arielle Phillips and Kyle Pullen. Harold is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents and his wife Joanna, he was preceded in death by his son, William A. Pullen; brother, Milo Pullen; and sister, Margaret Nesbitt.
A memorial service will be held at Hope St. John's Parish Saturday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. and condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
