Holly Ann Williams, 69, of Oscoda, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014.

She was born to the late Charles and Virginia Hans (Hanslovsky) on Sept. 18, 1944 in Saginaw. Holly graduated from Oscoda High School in 1962 and graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in 1967. She also obtained her teaching certificate from Alpena Community College. She married the late Jim Williams in 1970, and they lived together with their son in Oscoda.
Holly was an art teacher in the Oscoda Area Schools district. She was passionate about art and making a difference in the lives of her students.
Holly was an active member of Friends of Felines Rescue Center, Oscoda American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and a past member of the Oscoda Garden Club. Holly also had an active hand in helping the late Mary Ann Bartels in the design of her several productions. In later years she loved knitting and crocheting as well as planning reunions for her fellow graduates of Oscoda High School.
Holly is survived by her son and his wife, Christopher and Jessica Williams of Oscoda and several dear friends.
In honoring Holly's wishes, a celebration of her life will be held at the Warrior Beach Pavilion at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014.
