Marilouise Pershon (nee Nelem), age 85, of East Tawas, former resident of Taylor, died peacefully on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home in Tawas City.
She was born the daughter of Frank and Fedora (nee Misner) Nelem in East Tawas, on Sept. 20, 1927. Marilouise was a graduate of Tawas High School and most recently was a active member at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Tawas.
She married her husband, Raymond, on Aug. 13, 1949 and together they raised three loving children, Kathleen (Phillip) Cole of Sterling Heights, William (Terry) Pershon of Plainfield, Ill. and John (Rebecca) Pershon of Delaware, Ohio. Also surviving are her beautiful grandchildren, Flower, Brad, Aaron, Kallie and Christopher; and her great grandson, Devin. Marilouise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; and three brothers, Jack, Don and Bill Nelem.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City. The family will welcome friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
