Mary Kathryn Fenner, age 95, of Saginaw and formerly of Oscoda passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw.

Mary was born on Jan. 4, 1918 in Detroit to the late Frederick and Theresa (Kabat) Stock. She graduated from Reese High School in 1936. Mary will always be remembered for the way she truly adored and cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her four loving children, Julie Hubbard of Clio, George (Virginia) Fenner of Brighton, Carolyn Fenner of Saginaw and Whitney Abbaspour of Saginaw; nine grandchildren, Todd Hubbard, Jill (Hubbard) Kettler, Scott Fenner, Dina (Fenner) Merva, Dani (Fenner) Howard, Jared Fenner, Marisa (Fenner) Swartz, Stacey Damron and Lisa (Damron) Shorter; 15 great grandchildren, Audrey Kettler, Matthew Hubbard, Christopher Hubbard, Michael Hubbard, Samantha Fenner, Angela Fenner, Jack Howard, Camden Swartz, Devon Jones, Joey Jones, Nikolous Divona, Eric Divona, Morgan Shorter, Jacob Merva and Elizabeth Merva; and one great-great grandchild, Geordyn. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Alan Fenner; son-in-law, Bob Hubbard; sister, Pauline; and two brothers, Charles and Raymond.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oscoda. Her family will welcome friends at Buresh Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. (Rosary at 9:30 a.m.). Interment will take place immediately following the funeral mass in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Oscoda.
