William Edward Egan, age 74, of Greenbush died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital.

He was born March 8, 1939 in Detroit to James and Lois (Moksnes) Egan.
Raised in Dearborn, he married Theresa Dolores Fucile there on April 18, 1958.
William was a mail carrier in Dearborn Heights retiring in 1975.
He and Theresa moved to Greenbush from Garden City in 1975.
He was a member and past president of the Sunrise Side Woodcarvers club, where he also served as a judge in woodcarving shows. He was skilled in stained glass art, making lamps and many specialty items.
William is survived by his wife and two daughters, Jacqueline Marie (David) Gruenwald of Okemos and Kelly Ann (Kenneth) Roberts of New Haven; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 27 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. His ashes were interred in St. Raphael Catholic Cemetery, Mikado.
