Florence Emily Polson of East Tawas, formerly of Saginaw, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on March 22, 2014, at Tawas Village, East Tawas.
Florence was born Nov. 14, 1917, in the little town of McGregor, located in the Thumb of Michigan. Florence graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw. She also did volunteer work at the Iosco County Historical Museum and was an active member of Tawas United Methodist Church.
She is survived and loved very much by her brother, John "Jack" (Mary Lou) Tarrant of Bellaire; nieces, Norma (Gary) Poulos, Susan (Thomas) Moffett, Patricia (Jeffrey) Hallberg and Jacqueline Tarrant; and her nephew, Wayne Diveley. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years, Robert H. Polson; parents, William and Blanche (Griffith) Tarrant; and siblings, Ellsworth, William Jr., and Arline (Paul) Diveley.
