David Arnold Bosler, age 73, of Tawas City, a former resident of East Saint Louis, Ill., died at his home on Sunday, April 6, 2014 under the loving care of his family and hospice.

He was born the son of Orville and Sylvia (nee Simpson) Bosler on Nov. 28, 1941 in East Saint Louis, Ill. David graduated from Lincoln High School in 1959 and entered the United States Air Force stationed at the Air Force base in Oscoda and proudly served our country from 1959 to 1964. He met and married Karen Montgomery while stationed in Oscoda and together they had four beautiful children.
He worked for William Look and Sons for several years as a mechanic before retiring in 2002. David enjoyed spending time with his family and working on old cars.
David is survived by his children, Patricia (Sonny) Corbin, Paul (Debbie) Bosler, David (Kim) Bosler and Chris (Becky) Bosler; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Amber, Erica, Amy, Steven, Bailey, Reese, Ashmin and Myles; three great grandchildren Trevor, Dylan and Liam; one sister, Sandy (Roger) Gansmann; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jerry Bosler; and his nephew, Robert Bosler.
David was a loving father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
