Bob was one of our favorites at Life Care Center. He always remembered what songs certain people liked & would go out of his way to go see residents that were not able to come to the Dining room. He was truly a caring, gentle man. I know he's singing & playing the guitar up there somewhere :) He will be sorely missed. Thoughts & prayers to all his loved ones. He set the bar high :)From all of us at Life Care Center.

Bob was my Mentor when I went into Computer Sales at Sperry Univac in 1975 at the Lousiville Office. The many "little" things he taught me were really "Big" when it came to professional selling. Bob was the Master!!! We played music together several times and of course Bob was awesome at music also. Bob, I will carry on the Tunes!!!! RIP you will be missed..

My name is Sarah Pederson Graham. Bobby was my god-father and a VERY dear friend to my parents, Bill & Mary Pederson. Although our family moved to Oregon in the '70's and I grew up far from Bobby, he was ever a loving presence in my life. Please know that my love & prayers are with you!

The world is a little less interesting, musical, humorous, and, yes, wacky without Bobby. David and I fondly remember our lake house vacations in Minnesota with you, Ginny and my parents, floating on the boat with Bobby strumming his guitar. He was so caring, open and honest and a great support to my father throughout his cancer struggle. In reading these other entries, it's clear how many lives Bobby touched just by being himself. Rest in peace, Bobby.

Ginny, I have only the fondest memories of my visits with you two when Patsy and I would have dinner with you on our many trips to Hilton Head. The decor of your home inspired me to install ceramic tile floors, and some of my fiends who came with us still laugh about shopping at TJ Max. I know you will miss Bobby so much. Take care of you. Fifty-five years ago, Bob Faust was my date to a school prom. Through our adult lives we had lost touch but we reconnected a few months ago through the internet. From our brief exchanges it seemed to me that Bob was reviewing his life and connections to his past. He seemed grateful for the many gifts in his life; his family, his music, and even the tough challenges he had faced. I would say now in looking back on our written conversations, that Bob had some intuition that his life was coming to its end. I feel certain that he lived his life fully to the end of his life and left with love and gratitude in his heart for all those who have accompanied him on his path.

My sympathy and prayers are with his wife Virginia, his children and many grandchildren, that after the tears you will be comforted in the knowledge that he loved you and strengthened by the memories of the loving times you shared.

Bobby, Your face, your songs and your friendship will remain with us forever.
They all came so freely, without any strings attached.

I am one of the DeVoto cousins in Louisville, the daughter of Bill DeVoto. Though I haven't had contact with Bobby since the reunion, he has left memories with me.
Shotsy wrote of the grocery they owned and I remember it will and thought it intriguing.
In the early sixties I worked at a bank that Bobby service. When he came in he would always sit at my desk and we would talk a while.
He was a warm and friendly person, like many of the DeVoto cousins, and will be missed.

Virginia - I am sorry for your loss & you are in my thoughts & prayers. Bob and I were classmates at Bellarmine. We shared a love of music & participated in several variety shows. I played guitar for "The Nobles." It was a wonderful time. I'm glad he continued to share his musical talents after college. He will be fondly remembered.

He was a friend during college years in Louisville Kentucky...played the guitar for our vocal trio in many Variety Shows. It makes me happy to know that he kept up with his music all these years. My deepest sympathy to his family...you are blessed that he graced your lives for these many years.
