Cassidy, Patricia Ann  
Patricia Ann Cassidy Patricia Ann Cassidy, age 77, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Shelton, CT died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Cassidy was born on March 9, 1939 in Portland, OR, the daughter of the late George Larson and Dorothy Getty Larson. She worked as a paralegal in Connecticut for many years until retiring to Sun City-Hilton Head, SC where she was very active in the community. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Mrs. Cassidy was preceded in death by her son, Kevin E. Cassidy and her brother, Larry Larson. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Matt J. Cassidy and their son, John P. Cassidy and wife Maryann. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910 with inurnment following at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Cherewko, Laura C.  
Laura C. Cherewko After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Laura C. Cherewko, 46 years old, died peacefully at home June 14, 2016 surrounded by her family. Laura is survived by her loving husband Greg, daughters Elizabeth, Hannah and Grace, parents William Costello and Catherine Costello and stepmother JoAnn Costello, sister Angela and two nephews Spencer and Cooper. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Laura will forever be remembered as being a free spirited, loving wife, wonderful mother, beautiful daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Through the challenges of her illness, she and her family grew stronger in their faith and took comfort in accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This faith gave her and her loved ones an incredible strength and peace in knowing she would be accepted into God's eternal kingdom. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her dearly. Laura's family will be holding a private funeral service but there will be a celebration of her beautiful and wonderful life on July 12, 2016 at Lowcountry Community Church, 801 Buckwalter Pkwy, Bluffton, SC 29910 between the hours of 2 and 4. Coffin, Ann  
Ann M. Coffin Ann M. Coffin, 84, died on June 18th, 2016 at the Brookdale Assisted Living facility on Hilton Head Island, SC, after a brief bout with cancer. She leaves behind her husband, Larry Coffin of Hilton Head Island, and two children, Chris Coffin from the Boston MA area, and Cathy Heise and her husband, Gary, from Greeley CO, along with four grandchildren, Gerry, Alyssa, Melanie and Kevin. She is also survived by her brother, Frank, his wife Joan, and their son Michael and family. She will be fondly remembered for her caring touch, kindly guidance and underlying love, not to mention her fabulous cooking. Ann grew up in Berkeley, CA, attending local schools. She graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley in 1953 with a major in Childhood Development and a degree in Education. She was named to the Phi Beta Kappa Society and is a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Ann devoted her professional life to childhood education. She taught in elementary schools in Castro Valley, CA, an Air Force base school in Japan, and for fifteen years at the William Woodruff School in Berkeley Heights, NJ as well as preschool at the 1st Presbyterian Day School on Hilton Head Island, SC. Ann was a member of the Hilton Head League of Women Voters, a member of the Oyster Reef Golf Club and a volunteer at both the Deep Well Project of Hilton Head and Habitat for Humanity. Services will be private for family members. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Deep Well Project of Hilton Head, Hospice Care of the Lowcountry in Bluffton, SC, or the American Cancer Society, in memory of Ann M. Coffin. The Francis V. Cuttino, Robert Edward  
Robert Edward "Bob" Cuttino Robert Edward "Bob" Cuttino passed away Thursday, June 23, at the age of 86. Born in Sumter, SC, on August 27, 1929, he was the son of James and Lucie Olivia Cuttino. After graduating from Edmunds High School, Bob earned degrees from Wofford College and Yale University as well as an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Furman University. His pastorates in South Carolinain Williston, Fairfax, Lake City, Lancaster and Beaufortspanned some 65 years. During that time he served the Southern Baptist denomination with distinction in various capacities, which included serving as president of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and serving on various boards such as the Sunday School Board, the Peace Committee, and the Board of Trustees of Charleston Southern University. Missionsboth foreign and domesticwere a particular passion of Bob's and churches where he served have been nationally recognized for the number of new churches they started. Bob taught religion for over two decades in the University of South Carolina system and organized educational tours abroad. His travels took him to 33 countries. A Rotarian, Bob was recognized by Rotary International as a Paul Harris Fellow for promoting international understanding. He wrote a weekly religious column for the Bluffton Today. Bob authored a history of South Carolina Baptists to celebrate the state convention's 175th anniversary and was president of the South Carolina Baptist Historical Society. He also co-founded Operation Good Neighbor which brought racially diverse churches together to meet community needs. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Molly Jane Leatherwood Cuttino. Molly and Bob met while students at Converse College and Wofford College, respectively. Molly's piano performance training complemented Bob's ministry and worship leadership. Bob shared Molly's enthusiasm for music singing tenor in the Glee Club at Wofford and the Chapel Choir at Yale. Bob is also preceded in death by two brothers, James Cuttino, Jr, and Tillman Edwards "Tilly" Cuttino and by two sisters, Portia Cuttino Myers and Lucie Ann Cuttino Eldridge. Bob is survived by a son, Robert Edward Cuttino, Jr. of Gainesville, Georgia, and a daughter, Olivia Cuttino "Libby" Tilson and her husband, E. Vincent "Vint" Tilson of Matthews, NC. Bob is also survived by a granddaughter, Olivia Hayes Tilson Boylston and her husband, Zachary Michael Boylston of Chapel Hill, NC, and a grandson, Edward Vincent "Evin" Tilson of Charlotte, NC. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Bob Cuttino will be held at the Baptist Church of Beaufort Saturday, June 25 at 2:00pm with a reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
