William J. "Bill" O'BrienWilliam J. "Bill" O'Brien, of Bluffton, SC died Sunday, April 19, 2015. Mr. O'Brien was born on February 6, 1930 in Bronx, NY. He received his formal education at NYU, where he earned a degree in marketing and later earned his CLU/ChFC through the College of Insurance in Bryn Mawr, PA. During his 35 year career as an underwriter, he was associated with Mass Mutual and Guardian Life Insurance Companies. While living in Connecticut, he served on the parish council and finance committee of his church. He also restructured the local Catholic school program, saving the schools from closing. While living in South Caroline, he worked at Fresh Market and RT's Market at Palmetto Bluff. Mr. O'Brien is survived by his wife, Ann O'Brien; sons, Lawrence W. O'Brien (Lauren) and Kenneth M. O'Brien (Kim); daughter, Maureen Renee O'Brien; and grandchildren, William, Kellie, Jonathan, Emily, and Joshua. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 23049 Whyte Hardee Blvd, Hardeeville, SC 29927. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the MUSC Foundation, Subject: Scleroderma by contacting Kristy Collins at (843)792-3403. Donald Clyde Oberholzer Donald Clyde Oberholzer affectionately known as Obie, 83, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 5th at his home in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The son of Bessie and Clyde Oberholzer, he was born in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1931. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marilyn Patricia Wentworth of Syracuse, NY, three sons, Dennis, Douglas and Daniel, his Daughters in-law, Peggy, Melanie, and Toni, and his Grandsons, Brent, Andrew, Ryan, Wyatt and Liam.
