Lacroix Sr., Russell E.  
Russell E. Lacroix, Sr.Russell E. Lacroix, Sr. of Hilton Head Island died November 30, 2014 at his home. He was 94. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Rudy Lacroix and Mary Burke Lacroix. He moved to Ridgeland, S.C. in 2001 to be near his twin daughters, Jackie VanBlaricum of Hilton Head, S.C. and Jerri Firth of Bluffton, S.C. He is survived by his 2 daughters and 1 son, Russ Lacroix, Jr. of Ubly, MI. and 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren. He was loved and prayed for, and will be deeply missed, till we see him again. He served in the U.S Army during World War II. He was retired since 1982 from the Ford Motor Co. where he was a skilled worker. At his request he was cremated. His ashes will be put on Loretta Lacroix's grave in Michigan, His wife and the mother of his 3 children.

Lange, John R.  
John R. Lange John Ray Lange, 87, formerly of Hilton Head Island passed away peacefully on November 18, 2014 in Aldie, VA. Born in Sandusky, OH on May 10, 1927 to the late Orville and Kathleen Lange, John was raised on Kelleys Island, OH where he attended school and worked as a commercial fisherman in the family business. Following two tours in the U.S. Navy (WWII and Korea), and a Business Degree from Bowling Green State University, John began his career with Bendix in manufacturing purchase and supply. He was later employed with Ford Motor Co. for 18 years, and finally with Rockwell International where he retired in 1983 as VP of Manufacturing Planning for their Automotive Products Group in Pittsburgh, PA. John then relocated with his wife of 48 years, Jean Iscman Lange, to Hilton Head, residing in Port Royal where he served on the board for nearly 10 years. John was an avid golfer and member at Port Royal Golf Club. In 2013, he moved closer to family in VA. John was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers, Hugh and Tom, of Sandusky, OH. Surviving are his sister, Anne Shaw of Shelby, NC; his daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Dennis Darling of Centreville, VA; his son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Laura Lange of Scottsdale, AZ; four grandchildren, Christopher Darling and wife Ellyn, Megan Kartchner and husband Brandon, Alexandra and Taylor Lange; two great grandchildren, Charleston and William Darling; and nieces, nephews and cousins. A spring memorial service will be planned with interment at St. Francis By The Sea Columbarium. Lauland, Joyce Anne Rome - Beaufort  
Joyce Anne Rome Lauland, 83, widow of Thomas H. Lauland, Jr., of Port Royal, SC died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at River Oaks. A memorial service will be held on a later date. Mrs. Lauland was born on January 24, 1931 in New Orleans, LA to the late Blanchard Rome and Theresa Loupe Rome. Surviving include two sons, Robert "Bob" Lauland of Saint Helena, SC and Thomas H. Lauland, III of Beaufort, SC; one daughter, Sheryl Cotton of Seabrook, SC; two sisters, Jacqueline T. Roy of North Ridge, CA and Carol Ann Stacey of Conroe, TX; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Alzheimer's Family Services of Greater Beaufort, P.O. Box 1514, Beaufort, SC 29901. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.

Linden, Claus - Reidsville  
Claus LindenBluffton - Claus Linden, age 77, went to be with our Lord on Monday, December 15, on Hilton Head Island, SC. He was born on May 30, 1937 in Gelsenkirchen-Buer, Germany to Franz Josef "Jupp" Linden and wife Ella Hermine Hitz. He was educated in Germany and in the same town married Ute Maria Steuer on August 24, 1960, who predeceased him on March 20, 2014. They immigrated to the U.S. In 1962. Claus was predeceased also by his parents. Survivors include two daughters, Brigitte (Will) Evens of Granger, Indiana and Marielle (Tony) Cirone of Charlotte North Carolina. Four grandchildren, Erienne Ella Evens of Granger, IN, Julia, Kristin and Ted Cirone of Charlotte, NC. One brother Udo (Renate) Linden of Ludinghausen, Germany. He also leaves behind in- laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Claus came to South Carolina in 1995 and loved being here, never missing the snow of Indiana. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Memorial funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Saul's Funeral Home, Bluffton Chapel 90 Simmonsville Road Bluffton SC. Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Linden family.
