Wayne B. Flietner

Wayne B. FlietnerWayne B., Flietner, 89 of Sun City Center, Fla passed away September 20, 2013. He retired as Master Sergeant fromr the United States Marine Corps and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was a member of the VFW in Phillips Wisconsin, a member of Sun City Center Leathernecks, D.A.V. of Sun City Center, Freedom Arts Club, Sun City Center Men's Club, Sun City Center Security Patrol and the Tillers and Toilers. He was preceded in death by two sister, Alice Powers and Elaine Hancock, three brothers, Archie, Franklin and Willie Flietner. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Jennie, two daughters and son in laws, Nanch and James Radford and Patty and Brandon Little, four grandchildren, Justin Radford, Nicole Bubb, Jesse and Ben Little, three great grandchildren, A.J., Desiree and Tristan, two brothers and a sister in law, Elmer and Grace Flietner and Don Flietner and a sister Marilyn Flietner. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 701 Valley Forge Boulevard, Sun City Center, Fla. Burial with Military Honors will be at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla. In lieu of flowrs, memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 701 Valley Forge Boulevard, Sun City Center, Fla 33573.
