Hilda TollHilda Toll, of Hilton Head Island, S.C., passed away on July 9th, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by two sons: Stanley and Stuart; four grandchildren: Bruce, David, Eric and Maribeth, and three great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Max, and Maddie. Hilda was a wonderful woman who always placed the needs of others above her own. She was an extraordinary wife, sister, daughter, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was deeply loved by all of her family and by her many friends. Hilda was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She volunteered at the JEANNE'S HOSPITAL Thrift Shop in Philadelphia where she received an award for more than 6,000 hours of service over a 30-year period. After moving to Hilton Head Island in 2002, Hilda volunteered her time and talents to the Bargain Box and St. Francis Thrift Shop. Hilda will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her and especially by her family. A celebration of life memorial will be held in New York at a later date.
