Melanie Fender Lowther, 60, of Prichardville, SC died July 31, 2013 in Pritchardville. She was born on June 3, 1953 in Savannah, GA the daughter of the Melonie G. Fender and the late Johnny Fender. She was co-owner and office manager of Collins Septic Tank Service. She was a member of The Hilton Head Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved and was devoted to her family. She is survived by her husband, Barry W. Lowther of Pritchardville; mother Melonie G. Fender of Pritchardville; sons Barry W. Lowther, Jr. (Lisa) of Ridgeland, SC and Tearence D. Miller of Hilton Head Island; daughter Tuesday L. Mock (B.J.) of Pritchardville; brother Brooks Fender of Pritchardville; sisters Debbie O'Quinn, of Cleveland, GA, Holly Humbert (Cecil) of Hardeeville, SC; Velvia Probst (Ashley) of Jefferson, GA; and grandchildren Brianna, Barry, III, Emily, & Ava Lowther, and Justice and Kobi Mock. A Funeral Service will be held at 4pm, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at The Ridgeland Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with burial following at Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3pm until the hour of the service at the church. The family requests any memorial donations be made in Melanie's name to The Hilton Head Island Humane Society, 10 Humane Way, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926.
