To Daddy; you preferred watching college sports, because those players tried harder and were more idealistic--pulling for the team ... just as you did. You preferred watching old western movies, especially John Wayne, because the good guy always wants justice and what's good for all ... just as you did. In the "Big Chill" movie made in Bft, the preacher at a young man's funeral asked whether or not being a good man was enough any more--and you proved that it was. You didn't like politics in the church, but you never lost sight of the Trinity. You could always see navigational buoys and markers that were beyond my vision, and I'm sure that if "the" Pilot needs a "Pilot" in heaven that you will be there to lend a very capable hand. The love you shared with all of us lives on. We miss you so much ! Love, David.
