Joan L. Robbins Brennan, wife of Pat Brennan passed peacefully in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry "Doc" Robbins and Helen J. Boggs Robbins, and her beloved son, J. Patrick Brennan II, as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Mrs. Brennan is survived by her husband of 64 years; her children, Olivia Brennan (Karl Loos), Elaine J. Rentz, Heather L. Fleury (Sylvain Fleury); daughter-in-law, Kathleen "Kathy" Brennan; sister, Harriet Perkins (William "Bill" Perkins); grandchildren, Brennan V. Fleury, Ricky Mcelveen, Kristina Rentz, Brian Brennan, Cal Loos, Harley Loos, Beth Loos and Bennie Loos; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews from Savannah. Mrs. Brennan was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, St. Peter's Women's Club, HELP of Beaufort and numerous other organizations through the years. Mrs. Brennan was a past Catholic woman of the year, religious school teacher, band booster and volunteer of all until her health failed her. Even after limited mobility she continued with her Indian missions and Stamps for Habitat which she would brag helped build homes for people. Mrs. Brennan was born in Savannah, GA on December 5, 1929, and spent much of her childhood between Savannah and Newington, GA. Mrs. Brennan resided most of her adult life in Beaufort, but still considered herself a Georgian. Funeral services will be Friday, June 14 at St Peter's Chapel on Carteret Street. Rosary will begin at 11:00 am, with the Funeral mass at 12:00 pm. Mrs. Brennan will be buried on June 15, at 11:30 am at Middle Ground Community Cemetery in Newington, GA. Family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Our Lady's Pantry, 70 Lady's Island Dr., Beaufort, SC 29907. Friends may sign the online register book at www.joineranderson.com.
