Muriel Webecke
Longtime Long Beach resident Muriel Webecke, age 98, wife of Ernest Webecke, passed away November 11, 2012 surrounded by her family. She taught at LBCC, Poly and Wilson High schools. Children: Paul, Laraine and Karen. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Funeral services were held in Sandy, Utah. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26 at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA. I was one of her many students from 1971 Woodrow Wilson High. She was so kind, and made learning the experience it should be. I am so glad that she is resting in heaven.

Mrs. Webecke was my high school English teacher and a very good one! Sorry to hear of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this difficult time. You now have an angel watching over you all from heaven!
