Bresee, David Ernest - Redlands  
David served in the United States Army, and was married to Marilyn Bresee on March 30, 1974. David worked for the California youth authority for over 20 years. He enjoyed photography, trains, traveling and spending time with friends and family. He was a devout Christian. David is survived by his wife Marilyn, his two sons Michael and Timothy, his daughter in law Valerie, his granddaughters Chloe, Katie and Irelyn Rose, and his loving nephews and nieces. David is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mabel, and his brother Asher. Memorial donations may be given to the wounded warrior project @ woundedwarriorproject.org/donate

Brown, John A. - Fontana  
John A. Brown, age 67. He married Penny in 1968. In 1969 he joined the U. S. Marine Corps. John worked for General Electric in Ontario for 28 years before retiring in 2005. Later John worked for Crest Chevrolet as a parts driver. John is survived by his wife, Penny, a daughter, Peggy (Bryant) Shea, and a son, Michael (Melissa) Brown. He is also survived by four grandsons: Beau Gomez, Michael Shea, and Myles and Connor Brown. John attended Truth Tabernacle Church where services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Green Acres Cemetery.

Donnelly Sr., Robert J. - San Bernardino  
Robert (Bob) James Donnelly Sr., 85, of Fontana, passed away on July 23, 2016. Bob was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on May 16, 1931. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he began working at Kaiser Steel Mill in Fontana. Bob was a devoted and loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by Shirley, his wife of 57 years. He is survived by his children - Robert Jr., Cheryl, Darin, Kevin, and Gerry. Bob also leaves behind 9 grandchildren - Matthew, Megan, Taylor, Maddi, Dara, Jordain, Connor, Noah, and Nickel, and one great grandson -Micah.

Jager, Honorable Jacob H. - San Clemente  
Honorable Jacob H. Jager Honorable Jacob H. Jager, 82, of San Clemente, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2016, in San Clemente. Judge Jager was born on June 26, 1934 in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from Chino High School in 1952 and from San Bernardino Valley College in 1962. He was a mechanical supervisor in the United States Air Force. Upon returning home, he served as a police officer with the Chino Police Department and thereafter as a supervising special investigator with the California Alcoholic Beverage Control Department. In 1970, he received his law degree from La Salle University, Chicago and was admitted to the practice of Law in California in January, 1971. He was appointed by the Governor of California as a Commissioner of the Superior Court in 1975 and as a Judge in 1976. He had a distinguished career of over 35 years on the judicial bench. He was a longtime member of the Dana West Yacht Club, having had a boat in Dana Point for over 30 years. In addition to boating, his interests included RV traveling, reading, fishing, and entertaining. He cherished his family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his wife and family. Judge Jager gave a lifetime of service and love to his family, community, state and country and will be deeply missed by his family and loved ones. Judge Jager is survived by his wife of almost 54 years, Norma; daughter, Tammy and son-in-law, Sean Peasley; son, Rick; daughter, Deborah and son-in-law, Terry Trullinger; Grandchildren, Hunter and Ashton Peasley, and Jake and Jessica Jager; and brother, Wesley Jager. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Gerrit and Jacoba Jager. A memorial service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 200 Avenida San Pablo, San Clemente on July 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception at Bella Collina, 200 Avenida La Pata, San Clemente. Kuntz, Randal E. - Pomona  
Randal Eugene Kuntz, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, passed away at home on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Randal was born on December 30, 1953 to Beverly George and Charles Richards. He attended school at Kingsley Elementary, Emerson Junior High and Pomona High school, graduating in 1972. During his years in high school, Randal was a member of the Interact Club, helping to provide community service in the Pomona area. Before graduating from high school, Randal joined his grandfather Bob Kuntz’ plumbing business, and later became a member of Plumber’s and Steam Fitters Union, Local 398, and remained in good standing for more than 25 years. He worked with several local Pluming Contractors during his career and loved to share stories about each building that he had worked on in the Pomona Valley. He married Bonnie Saxe in June of 1972 and had two children from his marriage. He lived in Oregon for a short time and then returned to California in 1996 after a brief marriage to Debra Bentley, eventually moving to Bullhead City and Fort Mojave where he provided a home for his daughter and grandson. Randal moved back to the Pomona area in 2013 to be close to his two grandchildren and family. He was also active with friends from Pomona High School at monthly events and dinners and had been an active member of the Moose Lodge in Pomona. Randal is survived by his mother, Beverly George Marsh and Step-father John Marsh, Brother Sam Kuntz, Sister Dana Marsh Eubanks, Son David Kuntz, Daughter Natalie Kuntz, Grandson Jacob Kuntz and Granddaughter Emily Tuckness-Kuntz. He is preceded in death by his brother, John Marsh Jr. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 28th, 1:30 p.m., at Todd Memorial Chapel in Pomona.

Lugo Jr., Louis - Redlands  
Louis Lugo Jr, 74, of Highland, Ca passed away very peacefully on Tuesday July 19th, 2016 of natural causes. Born in the Bronx, NY to Luis & Anna Rosa Lugo on 5-31-42. He is survived by his sister Gladys Ruiz, sons Louis III, and Sean Lugo. He had six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Ruby Sanchez, who cared for him dearly. He lived most of his life in Southern California and proudly served for the United States Air Force until 1964. His last employment was at the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland, Ca, where he retired in 2010. Graveside services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery August 5th 2016 at 9:45 a.m.

Magan, Antonietta - Alta Loma  
Antonietta Magan With great sadness, the family of Antonietta (Toni) Magan announces her passing on July 22, 2016 (87). Born April 16, 1929, raised in Sicily, Toni immigrated to America in 1955 and later marring the father of her children, Frank Hambalek, Sr., in 1964. Surviving children; Frank Hambalek, Jr. (Ruthie) of Fresno, Lucianne Perez (Robert) and Dina Houston (Shane), both of Alta Loma and seven grandchildren: Rebecca, Jacob, Nicolas, Katelyn, Haley, Madison and Chloe. After the passing of Frank in 1993, Toni later met and married Harry Magan in 1999. They adored the grandchildren and enjoyed traveling to exotic places. Toni was preceded in death by parents Antonino and Marianna Rubino, first husband Frank and late husband Harry. A long time resident of Alta Loma, Toni was committed to service primarily the Sons of Italy, was trained seamstress and loved cook. Visitation and Vigil at Stone Funeral Home in Upland CA 5PM-8:00PM on July 27th with recital of the Holy Rosary at 6:30PM and Funeral mass on Thursday July 28th at St. Peter and St. Paul Church, Alta Loma at 10 AM with internment immediately following at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whitter. Pedro "Pete" Moreno September 7 1957 - July 15 2016 Pete Moreno died peacefully at his home in Upland. He is survived by his wife Lurlene, his father Trinidad, his brothers Jim and Joe (Ruby), his sisters Terri Dinisi (John), and Nena Moreno- Schilins (Chris), his nephews Jimmy, Ricky and Alex, his nieces Regina, Marissa, Lorina and Alyssa, his step- daughter Anna Marciano and grandson Vincent.
