Alvarez, Guillermina  
GUILLERMINA ALVAREZ Was born on February 8, 1930 in a hacienda of Santa Faustina in Silao Guanajuato Mexico to Sebastian and Trinidad Caudillo. Guillermina died peaceful on December 12, 2014 surrounded by her children. In 1944 she met and fell in love with her husband Carmen Alvarez. Guillermina had a passion for adventure, which led her and her husband to Pomona, California, where they made their home. Guillermina was the glue that held the family together through the joys and challenges of life. She was witty and had an unconditional love for her family and her community. Guillermina is survived by her siblings Elena Caudillo, Isabel Caudillo, Carmela Caudillo, Guadalupe Caudillo, as well as her aunt Antonia Ortega. Her children Rose Diosdado and her husband Joe Luis Diosdado, Peter Alvarez, Ester Alvarez, Robert Alvarez, Carlos Alvarez, Javier Alvarez, Clara Alvarez and her husband Drew Fales, Angelica Marin and her husband Jerry Marin, and Benito Alvarez. Guillermina has 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Guillermina was preceded in death by her husband Carmen Alvarez, her three sons, Guillermo, Joseph and Socorro Alvarez. A viewing opens at 4:00pm- 6:00pm to all & rosary will be held at Todd's in Pomona at 6:30 pm with a service on Friday at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Parish. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery & Celebration of Life at Ebell Club in Pomona.

Arrieta, Nancy M. - San Bernardino  
Nancy Marie Arrieta passed away on December 4,2014. She is survived by her Husband Eliseo, daughter Lisa, Son Michael and wife Theresa. Three Grandchildren Parents Bob and Martha Guillen, Brothers Bobby, Dan, David And Johnny Ray. Sisters Diane, Louise, and Priscilla. She also had many Nieces and Nephews. Memorial services are on Monday, December 15, @ 10:00 AM at Mark B. Shaw Mortuary.

Barcelona Pace, Juanita - Meridian  
Miss Juanita Jean went home on November 15th, 2014. She is survived by her favorite daughter, Carrie (Craig) Randall and her grandchildren Riley, Nathan, Lauren and Maren. She is also survived by her partner in crime, Jim Kennedy and his children, Stacy (Ron) Davis, Wendy (Matt) Gulserian, and Jim Kennedy Jr. and their children Allie and Evan Mead and Luke and Lily Gulserian. She also leaves behind her little brother Mike Barcelona and his awesome wife, Cristi. Mikie and Cheyenne Barcelona and their boys, Braden and Colton will also miss Aunt Nita, as will David and Carissa Barcelona. Nita was a lifetime resident of the Chino Valley, attending Chino High and then Chaffey Community College. She was a salon owner, a reluctant restaurant owner (the Souper) and an amazing mother, sister, friend, aunt, cousin and life-long philanthropist. She was a member of the Assistance League of Pomona Valley since 1988, being a founding member of their professional women's auxiliary, Les Fleurs. If you knew Nita, you know she had a fabulous sense of humor and quick wit. She was generous with her time, resources and her spirit. She blessed the lives of countless people without ever taking credit. If you didn't know her, you missed out! Per her wishes, the family is having a party in her honor on Sunday, December 28th at the Centro Basco in Chino. It will be open-house style from 2-5 p.m. All her friends and family are invited! In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Les Fleurs of the Assistance League of Pomona Valley. Those ladies do amazing work and Nita believed whole-heartedly in their mission!

Cambio, William V.  
William V. Cambio Passed away on November 29, 2014 at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patrica, daughter Anne and husband Scott, son Paul, grandchildren Aidan and Shelby, and siblings Frank and Rose. He was born in Italy, and was one of many immigrants coming through Ellis Island, stopping in Chicago and finally settling in the Inland Empire. He was a long time resident of Upland where he worked and raised his family. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Signal Corps during the Korean War. He was a graduate of University of Southern California and practiced real estate for over 40 years. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Draper Mortuary in Ontario with internment at Bellevue Mausoleum on Saturday December 27th from 10-12 and lunch will be served immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, were are asking that a donation be made to your favorite charity in his name. Additionally by accessing Draper Mortuary's website, you may express your thoughts and memories in the online guest book.

Cash, William Crampton - Palm Springs  
William Crampton Cash was born December 15, 1932 in Baltimore, MD to Tom and Theora Cash, and older brother, Ted. He passed away December 5, 2014 in Palm Springs, CA. Bill grew up in Pomona, where he met the love of his life, Barbara Matthews. They settled in Pomona where they raised their three children, Brent, Blake, and Kelly. Bill and Barbara were married 57 wonderful years. Through the years, they made many lifelong friends. Many of whom were made when they owned The Chino Gun Shop for 13 years. Bill was the best husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather in the world. He truly loved his family. Bill was loved by so many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara; and children, Brent and wife Lee Anne; Blake and wife Brenda; and Kelly and husband Tom McGetrick. Bill had nine grandchildren, Lacie, Brent, Ashley (Pete Vander Poel), Casey, Katie, Tony, Barbie, Bailey, and Kennedy. He also had two great-grandchildren, Skylee McGetrick and Pete John Vander Poel. He had another daughter, Jayne Meadows Iverson, not by blood, but by choice. Bill will be remembered for his love of guns and cowboy shooting, and playing the trumpet, but most importantly, for the way he loved and protected his family. Services for Bill Cash will be at Todd Memorial Chapel, 570 N. Garey Ave., Pomona on Thurs., Dec. 11th at 1:30p.m.

Ewing, Loren  
LOREN EWING William Russell Ewing, 77, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2014. He was born in Aberdeen, North Dakota to Loren and Leona Ewing on October 14, 1937. The family relocated to Southern California where Mr. Ewing was a 20th Century Fox Studio security guard. While spending time at the studios, William developed a strong interest in acting. He adopted the stage name of Loren Russell Ewing and joined the Screen Actors Guild. Loren was involved in numerous television series including Rawhide, Batman, Black Sheep Squadron and Chips. Movie roles included the Bermuda Triange and Across the Great Divide. While acting in a western film production in the 1970's he incurred a severe head injury which eventually ended his acting career. He moved to Upland where he met Bobbie Ruth Jordan and enjoyed a loving relationship for 40 years. He is survived by his companion, Bobbie, family and friends in Southern California. Loren is interred at pomona Valley Memorial Park.

Heidi passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Heidi was born in Billings, MO. Heidi has lived in San Bernardino, CA for the last 30 years. Heidi is survived by her husband Henry James House Jr. of 45 years, her 7 children; Henry James House III and his wife Deanna, Peter Arvizu and his wife Marian, Mike Arvizu, Laurie Simard and her husband Dave, Samantha Wilcox, St. Clemente Arvizu, and Kimberly Atkeson and her husband Sean. 18 grandchildren; Mikel, Timothy, Aston, Marilyn, Catherine, Joshua, Noah, Kimberly, Brandie, David, Kammie, Andrew, Dawson, Fiona, Jason, Roxanne, Jacob and Joshua. 10 great grandchildren; Brody, Katelynn, Elizabeth, Charlie, Meadow, Gunner, Chance, Mason, Cambria and Hunter and 1 sister Jacquetta DeManche. Heidi is being cremated with memorial services pending.

Nava, Elvira G. - San Bernardino  
Elvira went home Saturday morning to be with our Lord and is resting in peace. Elvira was born in San Antonio, TX. She and her husband, Jose, (which has preceded her in passing) moved to So. CA. and lived here for 60 years. Elvira is survived by Son Joe Nava and his wife Susan,His Daughter Rosie And her husband Mike Parker. Elvira has 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Margaret and Mary, and brother Mike. May you rest in peace dear loved one.

Navarrette, Robert  
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Robert Navarrette born on August 16, 1931 in Miami, Arizona, leaving us on December 5th, 2014. The Navarrette family moved to California where Robert graduated from Chino High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force where he was a Radio and Radar Tech stationed in Korea. After returning to civilian life, he worked for 30 years at General Dynamics in Pomona where he retired as a Supervisor. His retirement allowed him freedom to travel and enjoy life with his wife, children and friends. He enjoyed all sports and enjoyed coaching his son's Pomona Little League team and traveling to Arizona to watch his grandsons play baseball. He appreciated the beauty of nature and introduced his family and friends to camping, backpacking, fishing, travel and cruising the seas. Robert fought his long illness courageously. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Juanita. He is additionally survived by his daughter, Deborah, son-in-law Joe Contreras (deceased), son Robert, daughter-in-law Stephanie, daughter Brenda and son-in law Mark Milow. Beloved grand and great grandchildren, who were his joy are Theresa, (husband Guy) Robert John, (wife Samantha) Richard, Julian, Conner and Daniel; four great grandchildren, Alianna, Hailey, Daniel and Sebastian. Preceding him in death were his brother Jesse, sister Rachel, brother Joe and sister Rosie. Additionally he is survived by his brother Henry, sisters Mary Lou and Irene, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Our love goes with him and we will miss him forever. "Love you more" was his favorite phrase. A Rosary will be on Wednesday 12/17/14 6:30pm at Forest Lawn Covina Hills. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 12/18/14 10:00am at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Claremont, CA. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Covina Hills.

Ontiveros, Mary - Loma Linda  
Mary Ontiveros, 67 years old of Loma Linda, California, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at her home with her husband Jose by her side. She was born on December 28, 1946, in Colton, California. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rosanna Navarro, mother, Rosa Hernandez and brother, Carlos Navarro. She is survived by her husband, Jose Ontiveros and their children, Arthur "Jordan" Navarro, Arlene Smith, Joey Ontiveros, Diona Fuerte, and David Ontiveros. Sisters, Avelina Villa and Olivia Rivera, brother Abel Navarro. Also, her loving 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Mary was a former employee of Colton Unified School District for 10 years. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014, 8:30 - 10 am, with Funeral service at 10 am, both at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California, followed by burial. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Redlands Community Hospital in Memory of Mary Ontiveros.
