Born: October 1. 1907 in Selden (Stephenville) Texas. Passed Away January 3, 2012 at San Antonio Hospital, Upland, surrounded by his family. Albert was proceeded into death by his first wife, Katie Regina Wakefield and also by his second wife Bobbie Mae Stice and six of his siblings, 2 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Lura Allison Fagan and his children William & Rose Allison, Ella Kate & Jim Crowder, Rebecca Lou & Gregory Deja, Carol & Don Garland, Donna & Dennis Parr, Sharon Caples, Lee & Marlin Davis and Bobby Neal & Lucy Stice, 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 8 2nd great grandchildren and 1 3rd great grandchild. Extended family Jeannie Stice, David Walters & Larry Smith. Albert attended John Tarleton College where he was a member of the ROTC. He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II where he learned the skills of meat and dairy inspection which started a very long career of over 30 years. When he retired he was the Supervising Inspector of the Los Angeles County Federal State Inspection Service for the U. S. State Department of Agriculture. Best remembered by his friends and family as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Albert was a well known figure in the community, living a total of 51 of his104 years in The City of Montclair. Everyone who came into contact with him was touched by his spirit and longevity, everyone wanting to know his secrets to a long and healthy life. He lived his life quietly, with dignity and honor and was self sufficient right up until the end.
