Barbara Kaisermann Draves
Passed away Saturday, February 16 two weeks short of her 89th birthday in Redlands, CA after a brief illness. Barbara was born in Delavan, WI on leap year, February 29, 1924. She graduated from Delavan High School and attended St. Mary's College in South Bend and graduated from the University of Indiana. Barbara married Henry Charles Draves and for the next twenty years they traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad, to England, Germany, and Spain. In 1960 the family moved to Redlands, CA where they lived until Henry's retirement from the Air Force in 1963 when they moved back to Delavan.
After Henry's death, Barbara returned to California, where she lived the remainder of her life. Barbara is survived by her daughter Evanne Draves Miller of Philomath, OR; a son William A. Draves of Twin Falls, ID; and a brother, John Kaisermann of Warrens, WI. Her son Henry Charles III died in 1986 and her daughter Carmin died in 2008. Barbara's positive outlook and enthusiastic love of life will be remembered by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at the United Church of Christ in Delavan, WI on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. after a visitation
at 10 a.m.
