Patricia Van Dam, of Claremont passed away on May 31, 2014 under Hospice care. Pat was born on December 26, 1955 in Richland, Missouri. Her family had immigrated from Holland in 1951. She was a homemaker, coach, host mother, friend, and a board member of several agricultural councils. She was also a devoted member of the 1st United Reformed Church of Chino with her husband, Bert Van Dam of 38 years. She survived by her daughter Renae (Jeremy) and her son BJ (Windy). Also, her sister Teresa of Washington, sister Janet of Texas, and her brother Peter of Chino. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside. Burial will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 9:30 am, followed by a memorial service at 11 am at 1st United Reformed Church, 6159 Riverside Dr., Chino. The family wants to thank all the family and friends for their help and support during this sudden loss.
