Sandra Terry Harp
73, died peacefully at her residence in Upland on Saturday Dec. 15th. Born Nov. 2, 1939 to E. Wayne Terry and Eleanor Terry, she was a 1957 graduate of Chaffey High School and lived most of her life in and around her hometown of Ontario. Sandra spent much of her career as a Youth Counselor at the former California Youth Authority in Chino, retiring in 1990. Her earlier employers included General Telephone and "The Daily Report" (forerunner to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin). There, she met her co-worker and future husband, Ted. Sandra is survived by her mother, Eleanor Terry of Ontario; her brother Tim Terry of Nipomo, Calif.; her son Ethan Harp and daughter-in-law Suzanne Goldklang Harp of New York City; her nephew Erik Terry of Irvine; her niece Morgan Rosser of Trabuco Canyon and niece Samantha Wheeler of Nipomo, Calif. In a conversation with her son earlier this month, she said "I've had a hell of a good life." Arrangements are being handled by Draper's. Burial will be private, however the family invites friends to join them for a reception beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Elks Lodge, 1150 W. 4th Street in Ontario.
