Barbara "Bobbie" Anthony
Barbara "Bobbie" Anthony , 54 of San Bernardino, CA passed away on Nov. 3, 2013 with family at her bedside. Bobbie, a lifelong resident of San Bernardino met Eddie in 1984 and they were married on Nov. 2, 1996. Together they enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, traveling and bingo. She was noted as "The Bingo Queen". Bobbie worked at Dana's housekeeping for 25 years. Many of her clients became close friends. She worked at Ronnie's Coffee Shop in Highland as a cook. In her younger days she worked at Norton Air Force Base Commissary. Bobbie was preceded in death by her father Ellsworth "Al" Acker, mother, Marcia "Peggy" Acker. She's survived by her husband, Eddie Anthony, her brother, nephew's David Acker, Jr., Andrew Acker, great nephew Jordan Acker, along with many extended family and close friends. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA with funeral services on Sat. Nov. 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Bobbitt's with interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery, San Bernardino, CA.
