Obituary Condolences

Age 59, of Chino, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family & friends, after a courageous battle against Pulmonary Fibrosis on January 19, 2011. David was born on August 4, 1951, to George Z. Rodriguez and Lupe B. Rodriguez, long time residents of 4th street in Chino. David retired from Cement Masons Southern California Union Local 97 after 20 plus years. Cement work was a trade that David loved and performed for his entire life. David loved life and celebrated spending time with the love of his life, Patsy, and all of his cherished family and friends. Always the first one on the dance floor, a master at keeping the mood spirited. David was someone who always listened, with real interest and concern, to anyone who wanted to share their story. He was a true supporter of those he loved. David cherished his family and, true to his father's wishes, succeeded in keeping his extended family and friends together. You could always count on leaving happier than you arrived after a visit to David's garage. David anticipated with Joy his Annual High Sierra Opening Day Fishing Trip. The best part of his trip, for him, was always the planning meetings with those family and friends who would venture to the High Sierra's with him.
