I worked with Doug at both ONT and LAX for Western Airlines. I have fond memories of all those times. Doug was a very kind person with a smile that would make anyone's day. I will miss him dearly.

Dearest Tammy & Family,

What a wonderful tribute to Doug on Sunday. Thank you for the wonderful reception afterward... It felt like a loving, mini WAL/DAL reunion. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss. Dougie was special. I called him, "The Voice", and he called me, "MsZ". He had THE BEST flight announcement voice of both Western & Delta Airlines, bar none. The last time I saw him, he still looked like a kid, with that dazzling smile, and dimples for days! I like to think that all is "copacetic" with his arrival into the afterlife, and that he now has a very important new job: Announcing the arrival of ANGELS, instead of airplanes, into Heaven.
All my love,
Julie Zuro

Doug was such a fun guy to work with. Always up and with a smile on his face that was contagious. I can still picture him pulling up for work at the Long Beach airport in his British racing green TRD sports car. My condolences to all his family.

Doug was such a kind man; our family feels so fortunate to have had such a wonderful neighbor. He always greeted us with a smile and really spoiled us with lemons and especially his delicious toffee at Chistmas. Our hearts are with Tammy and hope that with time, she finds comfort and peace with his memory.
