Norine Marilyn DeLisle of Long Beach, California passed away peacefully at home Saturday, November 17, 2012. She and her husband had moved from the east coast 30 years ago. They kept busy for twenty two years operating Certified Auto Repair where Norine picked up and escorted customers home while having work done on their vehicles. She also obtained parts and ran errands. Then for eighteen years she was associated with the Fourth Street Senior Center where she volunteered in the gift shop. She was born to Milton and Stella Adams in Massena, NY on May 10, 1931. She graduated from Massena High School in 1949. She married her high school sweetheart, Bernard F DeLisle and on December 30 they would have been married for 62 years. She lived her life in a way that most could only hope; exuding love for her family, happiness in her marriage and faith in her heart. The home of her family was never without love, laughter and music. Family members will carry on holding her lessons of love close to their hearts. She is survived by her loving husband, Bernard F DeLisle and 2 beautiful daughters, Susan DeMarco and Diane San Roman. She has 6 loving grandchildren and 12 great grand children. She was loved by all who met her and will be missed. Her two wonderful dogs, Lucy and Lulu already miss her dearly. She will always be remembered by her love for her family, laughter and joy in life. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. A gathering will be held for family and friends at McKenzie Mortuary, 3843 East Anaheim Street, Long Beach, CA on Saturday November 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
