Helen Kingsbury returned Home to be with her Heavenly Father on Feb. 24, 2013. She was born Feb. 7, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas to Charles & Agnes Blakey. Helen graduated from Ursaline Academy in 1947 where she was known as, "A Pearl of a Girl." She retired from Bank of America, San Bernardino, as Vice-president/ Manager after 25 years of service. She was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Montclair before moving to Washington in 2007. Helen was married to the love of her life, Robert J. for 57 years, before he preceded her in death in April, 2006. Also preceding her in death was their eldest daughter, Geralyn Randell, Aug. 2010. Left to treasure her memory are her three remaining daughters, Debbie Deeter (Marion, OH), Barbara (Dennis) Smith (Wenatchee, WA), and Nancy (Robert) Simendich (Yucca Valley, CA), 7 grand- children-Ashlee, Bobby, Kelly, Michael, Kyle, Aaron and Austin, 5 step-grandchildren-Jeff, Beverly, Christine, Devlin and Jason Randell, 5 great grandchildren- Quentin, Lily, Corbin, Ethan, and Kix, and son-in-love Rudy Guzman.
A loving, compassionate woman Helen remained bright-eyed and smiling despite her Alzheimer's disease. She will be deeply missed by her 3 daughters, Dennis-her Thursday Happy Hour companion, and her loving caregivers at Highgate of Wenatchee.
Services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 at Draper's Mortuary on Mountain Av., Ontario, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Bellevue Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to your local Humane Society.
